£598,000 Record Price

Chrystals Auctions' associate auctioneers, Murray's Ltd, achieved a world record £598,000 / $975,218 (including Buyer's Premium) for a Qianlong jardiniere at auction on 25th February 2011.

The bowl came from a house in Baldwin, Isle of Man and was spotted by auctioneer, Murray Keefe. Murray's smashed the previous record achieved by a leading London auction house for a matching bowl (2007) by $700,000.
